Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Gait Treatments

Our MSK (musculoskeletal) and gait assessments are designed to find the cause of your pain — not just treat the symptoms. We look closely at how your joints, muscles and bones move. How your feet and legs work together when you walk or run.
During your appointment our podiatrist will:

These procedures are carried out safely by our HCPC-registered podiatrists, who are qualified to administer local anaesthetic and prescribe specific podiatry medications (POMs) when needed.
Our special podiatry services include:

Nail Surgery – a permanent solution for painful or recurrent ingrown toenails. The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic to ensure complete comfort, and the affected part of the nail is carefully removed to prevent future problems.

Verrucae Needling – an effective treatment for stubborn verrucae that haven’t responded to other methods. The area is numbed with local anaesthetic, and the needling stimulates your body’s immune response to help clear the infection.

Local Anaesthetic Administration – used to make procedures pain-free and stress-free. This allows us to perform nail surgery, verruca needling, or other treatments comfortably and safely.
